The Vanika Vaisya Youth Federation is one of the strong subsidiary organization of the Sangham. The federation organise youth of the community - Branch (Sakha) wise and make involve them to participate actively in the various programmes of the Sangham. The Sangham is giving Sholarships to students annually on merit for the encouragement of youth. The federation is keen to give advice to the unemployed youth of our community in their efforts to get employed. Also they are being engaged in the activities of the Sangham programmes to ensure the rights and privileges of educational and employment scholarships, concessions etc. and to ensure the reservation quota in the PSC and admission to various professional courses which have been continuously denied in the past. The federation provides vocational guidance for the educated youth, share infoation about the ongoing decentralised developmental activities of the State etc so that due share of it could be taken by the deserving people of our community.
Membership:
Age limit for Membership : Between 15 and 35 years
Youths within the above age limit and belongs to any of the Communities viz. Vanika Vaisya, Vaniya, Vaniyan, Vaniyar, Vaisya Chetty, Vanibha Chetty, Chettiar, Vaniya Chetty, Ayiravar, Nagarathar, Ganika, Mooppar, Gandhala, Tailik (All the Member Communities of All India Tailik Sahu Mahasabha) are eligible to get Membership in Kerala Vanika Vaisya Youth Federation.
Membership Fee Rs. 5/- per Member, Annual Renewal Subscription Rs.5/-
The Youth Federation has a State Committee, District Committees and Branch (Sakha) Committee
Fee to be paid to State Committee for Branch Registration = Rs.100/- per Branch.
